Fresh ideas and unconventional products are the calling card of this exhibition space with a difference in Hall 3.1. That’s where young and ambitious startups present their products and services that are most likely still insider tips at this stage. About 20 of them are present each year at Paperworld, and some will be on an international stage for the very first time. The BMWi makes it possible, selecting applicants for the exhibition space made available by Messe Frankfurt.
It’s well worth taking a look. Many a product may not only be a breath of fresh air for any paper, office supplies and stationery range, but also capture the customers’ hearts – particularly as many of the products on display are made with love down to the finest detail and are often handcrafted.

Under the registered trademark of mimie & joe, graphic designer Mihiro Christina Sieben presents her card collection crafted with love and passion. She drew inspiration not only from the lively atmosphere of the art and fashion metropolis of London but also the quiet, reduced style of Scandinavia. She calls her creations Lovely Goods, which are reduced to a simple feel and natural paper without bling – and without plastic packaging for the good of the environment.

Pause and think differently – that’s what type.messages are all about on cards made of white FSC-certified paper produced with 100% wind energy. And they are handmade, labeled using old typewriters or by hand or stamped. Each one separately, individually signed and packed in transparent paper bags, which of course are bio-degradable. A special product – as a greeting card or a message with holder, and at Paperworld even with presentation concepts for retailers.
