Colourful furniture for outdoors

Aligned is a collection of outdoor furniture designed by Maarten Baas of the Netherlands for valerie_objects. The original concept was to create objects with lines that would look as though they had been drawn by hand. “Although the idea behind it might sound simple,” commented the designer, “the implementation was far from it. Machines are very good at producing straight lines. Crooked lines they find far more challenging.”

All the furniture in the Aligned collection is made from aluminium with a powder coating optimized for outdoors. The items include stackable stools (with or without back-rests), a lounger, a side-table/stool and tables of two different sizes. The colours offered are Yellow, Black and Off-white.
