Classics from France

Le Creuset, founded in 1925 in Fresnoy-le-Grand in northern France, has taken the Eiffel Tower in Paris as the leitmotif for its new limited series Vive La France. The luminous colours indigo, cerise and white bring out the filigree ornamentation perfectly, at the same time conjuring up images of the French tricolour. The three-dimensional embossing is an elegant testimony to Le Creuset’s skill and decades of experience working with cast iron as a material. The series includes not only cast-iron classics, such as the shallow and round casseroles, but also stoneware products such as a mini cocotte with the Eiffel Tower motif. The Vive la France range also includes moulds for pies, tarts and baked cheese.
