Heimtextil has overhauled its concept. What are the main improvements visitors can expect?
We are reorganising Heimtextil from the buyer’s point of view in particular, consolidating themes and product segments and gearing them even more towards specific target groups. This results in synergies between the individual product segments, and our visitors won’t have such a long way to walk. A number of employees will be available as points of contact in strategic places throughout the exhibition grounds, helping visitors find their way around. For finding exhibitors and events I can also recommend our Heimtextil navigator app which will guide you to the various booths.
This year, Heimtextil will be adding the new Hall 12 for the first time. What will Heimtextil present there?
In the new Hall 12, which adds an architectural highlight to the exhibition grounds, Heimtextil will present international suppliers of “Bed & Bath Fashion”. Next to it in Hall 11.0, Heimtextil will pick up on the great lifestyle theme of sleeping, with renowned manufacturers showcasing new products from the “Smart Bedding” product segment: mattresses, bedding, sleep systems and machines for textile processing. And in the foyer of Hall 11.0, “Sleep! The Future Forum” has a lecture programme on offer with the latest findings from science and research, sports and hospitality.
The trend theme is “Toward Utopia”. What exactly do you mean by that and what is there to see in the new “Trend Space” in Hall 3.0?
Our new “Trend Space” shows textile interiors in the context of a new utopia – in a society that is based on personal responsibility, positive actions and optimism. Heimtextil will present five trends which represent a combination of inspiration, interaction and knowledge transfer, introducing pioneering design projects and current colour trends – a highlight for every visitor.
