The presentation of the partner country “Hand Make” includes a wide range of products of traditional craftsmanship and reflects through contemporary aesthetics an in-depth understanding of mythology, architecture and culture. Curated and created by Indian designer Ayush Kasliwal from AKFD design studio in Jaipur.

Sunil Sethi, Managing Director of Sunil Sethi Design Alliance and President of the Fashion Design Council of India, is the curator of the two special presentations Stepwell and Kârwân.
Stepwell shows typical products and their manufacturing methods in an interactive environment.

Stars on stage
Exhibitors will be giving entertaining presentations of innovations and popular classics at numerous events. Stars of the international cookery scene, barista coaches, wine connoisseurs, outstanding confectioners and other guests will be giving tips.
In cooperation with Ambiente, the Fontys University of Applied Sciences from the Netherlands will be sending trend scouts to the fair. The trend scouts will present the results of their research in guided tours.

KitchenInnovation of the Year
Based on a preselection by experts, the winners will be chosen by an independent jury of consumers. All the award-winning products products will be exhibited in a special presentation.

Plagiarius – the exhibition
Plagiarius e. V. will be presenting for the 42nd time the tongue-in-cheek “Plagiarius” awards for particularly flagrant product copies encountered around the world, with an accompanying exhibition of all the “winning” copies.

Tableware International Awards of Excellence
Tableware International magazine’s International Awards of Excellence will be presented for the second time this year. The award ceremony will take place on Sunday, February 10. Entrance by invitation only.

For the first time, the Dineus Award recognizes the top achievements of the tableware industry and aims to create more public awareness of the culture of the laid table. The search is for outstanding products in the entire spectrum of tableware: classic or modern designs, product innovations, cutting edge design, projects or decorations. The award ceremony will take place on February 8.
