Winter Nordstil 2020 with extended gourmet section

Right on track for successful business: The winter edition of Nordstil is ready to go with over 900 exhibitors. Good news for all foodies on board: for the first time the gourmet section will be expanded to include Hall B2.1.

The North is a great place for a seaside holiday – with salt in the air and a cool breeze. However, for buyers it’s a lot more than a place of nostalgia. After all, Nordstil will be opening its doors for the thirteenth time in 2020. More than 900 exhibitors are expected this winter, mostly from Germany, the Netherlands and Scandinavia, and are ready to present their innovative products in four segments: House & Garden, Style & Design, Gifts & Stationery and Jewellery & Fashion.
The forthcoming winter edition will see an expansion of the House & Garden segment with a second Gourmet floor. The upper floor of Hall B2 will be offering full immersion in the world of culinary delights. This expansion will give buyers an even greater choice of gourmet products for their supplementary product ranges – from customisable confectionery to high quality oils. “But we’ve also made quite a few minor adjustments, which will help greatly in bringing together new and established exhibitors with new and established visitors. This is clearly borne out by the level of satisfaction among our exhibitors,” says Binu Thomas, head of Nordstil.

The Nordstil experience – insights into the industry coupled with networking opportunities
Thanks to its extensive supplementary programme, Nordstil will be offering three days of unadulterated expertise and networking. The Nordstil Forum will provide visitors with first-hand insights into the industry: Which direction should high street retailers aim for in times of increasing e-commerce? What will be the expectations of tomorrow’s consumers? What does the ideal POS look like?
In the Village twelve German brands will be exhibiting their latest collections under an overarching theme. It will also have a shared area, perfect for relaxing and networking, with lots of pleasant cafés between the stands to make sure no one stays on their own for long. A visit to the Northern Lights will be a good way to receive plenty of fresh input. Young start-ups, designers and artisan studios with unique product ideas, daring approaches and unusual materials will be spreading their infectious enthusiasm. A wealth of inspiration guaranteed!
In recent years the Buddelhelden (beverage specialists) section has developed into a hotspot for tasting a good drop. It’s a place where exhibitors of wines and spirits will explain the ideas behind their signature drinks over a glass or two.

>> Winter Nordstil will take place from 11 to 13 January 2020.
