Special Show – Vintage storytelling

The new “Kinemona Vintage” special show, staged by Dutch design studio 2dezign, picks up on the vintage trend. It is based on the very fashionable saffron yellows and serves as inspiration for storytelling at the point of sale.

The aim of the two directors at 2dezign, Rudi Tuinman and Pascal Koeleman, is to attract customers with a completely unexpected display and tempt them to make purchases through the use of a unique presentational scenario. The special show gives retailers plenty of stimulating ideas for extravagant large-scale, shop-window and shop interior designs. The designers demonstrate how shopping can be turned into an experience. Cherished objects and items of furniture from the past acquire a freshly polished look and are combined with modern pieces and decorations. The result is a comfortable nostalgic feel, which invites people to discover more. Use is made, for instance, of old doors, window panes, leaded windows and cupboards. Even the Hawaiian name for saffron, “Kinemona”, makes us want more colour. Colour unleashes its power in all seasons, but especially at Christmas. This year, the focus is very much on flowers, with lots of yellow roses, gerbera and white orchids.

Fresh flowers and plants from the Floradecora exhibitors in combination with the decorative products from the Christmasworld exhibitors provide the eye-catching centrepiece in the new Hall 12 – in the middle of the Christmas & Seasonal Decoration product areas.

If you would like to order the products used, you can find the entire range of seasonal and festive decorations at Christmasworld. These can be combined with the fresh flowers and plants on display at Floradecora. The participating exhibitors are identified by their name, hall and booth number so purchasers can find them easily to discuss further details and product specifications.
