Proactive temperature- and moisture management solutions take a big step towards more sustainability

Outlast® products stand for more natural comfort in beds. They offer smart temperature- and moisture management to help you get a better night’s sleep. Based on phase-change materials (PCMs), Outlast® technology proactively eliminates temperature swings throughout the night and keeps the micro climate between skin and bedding at comfort level. Overheating and chilling are significantly* reduced. The result is a deeper, more restful sleep.

Outlast offers a wide range of PCM solutions from coated textiles and viscose or polyester fibre fills to foam spray applications. For more than 20 years, bedding manufacturers around the globe have relied on Outlast® for adding comfort features to their products.

With products based on recycled material as the latest additions to the Outlast® portfolio, the PCM expert has now taken the next step towards more sustainability. Constant reduction of the ecological footprint has always been part of technology development with OEKO-TEX® 100 class 1 certifications, resource-friendly yarn dyeing and production in accordance with the highest quality standards, for example.

In the new Outlast® products, temperature-regulating technology is applied to the base material (knitted fabric or nonwoven) which is produced from 100 percent recycled polyester textiles or PET bottles and therefore meet the Global Recycle Standard (GRS). Further components based on renewable materials are planned to expand the product portfolio in the near future. With this step towards greater sustainability, Outlast continues to focus on making bedding even smarter and more natural.
